Is there a limit?
Yes. We want to help as many people as we can so we have set a limit of £350 per application. We know every situation is different so this amount is not set in stone but we want the money to be as effective as possible. Every amount is carefully considered in partnership with an advice provider.
Do you provide advice?
No, we do not provide any advice but rely heavily on independent advice agencies when approving funds.
Who can apply?
If you are vulnerable, on a low income or benefits, you are eligible to apply. Please apply through the Citizens Advice. All other avenues of help will need to be exhausted before funds are approved.

What do you fund?
We can help in a number of ways, which can include payment towards rent arrears, possession related court fees, applications for DRO’s, deposits, rent in advance. Please contact us if you are not sure whether your situation qualifies.
What documentation is need to support my application?
All applications must include a bank statement and a signed client consent form, which can be downloaded here. Please note, we may contact you directly so please bear this in mind when you sign the consent form.
Evidence of hardship will be required before funds are approved.
When will I hear from you?
Please allow five working days for your application to receive a response. If your application is urgent, we will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible.
Why was my application unsuccessful?
There are a number of reasons why your application may not have been successful this time, but please do not be put off applying again in future if your circumstances change.
Unfortunately, we do not have unlimited resources so will not be able to help everyone; to increase your chances of success please make sure you fulfil the eligibility criteria and make sure you engage fully with your advice provider.
We will not release funds until all other sources have been exhausted – your advice provider will be able to help you to do this.
Can you pay clients directly?
In most cases, the funds will go directly to the organisation or landlord involved.
